Boston's Top Spots For An Aperol Spritz!
If you’re like me, sitting at a patio table with a crisp summer beverage is immediately where my mind goes to when the weather gets warmer. My ideal summer weekend consists of brunch on a patio sipping on my favorite drink, an Aperol Spritz!
If you aren't familiar with the Aperol Spritz, let me give you a quick run down! This Aperitif originated in the beautiful streets of Italy dating back to 1919 when bartender Raimondo Ricci was looking to create a drink to combat the heat! It was designed as a light drink to sip before dinner so you could cleanse your palette and cool down.
While we can't all hop on a plane and head to Italy, it doesn’t mean that we cannot partake in the perfect summer beverage! I have done the research for you on where the best Aperol Spritz in Boston is poured and simplified my favorites into this list!

First stop, a south end favorite, Coppa! While they are most known for their Italian classics, they also have a cocktail list with their own unique names! Among the “Don't Even Say It” and the “Rich Girl” you will find the true Italian classic, an Aperol Spritz!
Have a group of people who want to sit on the patio with a sweet sip? In the summer months, The Salty Pig offers an entire pitcher of aperol spritz! Create your own cheese board and enjoy socializing with your friends!

Another great spot to go check out is fan favorite, Contessa! This location has put a cool twist on the Aperol Spritz with their “Spritz Contessa”. This Spritz comes with the addition of cranberry among the typical ingredients for a unique sip!

For the last Spritz, we head over to the North End to a quaint Italian spot, Carmelinas! Although the restaurant is small, it packs a big punch with a great drink menu paired with delicious pasta and seafood options!
