Member Spotlight: Angel Perez!
This week we’re putting the spotlight on Angel Perez, the Member Experience Associate at Industrious. Angel is based out of the Copley Square location, and will be hosting us later this year! Haven’t heard of Industrious? You must have been on the wait list for February’s Networking Night ;) Industrious offers flexible work spaces for individuals and teams, with all the amenities included; providing a premium experience in a professional atmosphere.

Now, let’s get to know Angel Perez!
What are your current responsibilities and background?
I have a background in performing arts and real estate and I am currently a Member Experience Associate with Industrious. My team and I coordinate our food and beverage program, which also includes happy hours once a week! I also manage the space by assisting members, as well as assisting office tours.
Did you grow up in Boston? If not, what led you here?
I grew up in Orlando but I chose Boston because I wanted to experience seasons and a new change of pace.
What are some of the highlights of your career so far?
Memorable moments I’ve had, were working with Disney Cruise Line, as I was able to travel and create once in a lifetime experiences. I was also given the title of the Top Listing Agent in my office back in my hometown.
What is the biggest lesson you've learned so far in your career?
There is always room for self growth and you are never done learning.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love to go on picnics, fashion trends and trying out new cocktail bars.

When/how did you become involved with BostonYPA? How has this affiliation helped your career?
I became a member in March of 2023! My team from Industrious and I thought networking with the community would be a great way to meet younger professionals who are seeking to find space to host their events or meetings.
What do you enjoy most about being a member?
Something I am enjoying as a member is the creative events they have to offer.
For those young professionals looking to possibly join, why should they join?
Young professionals that are looking to build strong relationships with the community should join BYPA. It is a great way to meet new people that could be in the same profession as you or work in partnership with others.
What would you like BYPA professionals to know about your business? Any news you’d like us to know about?
