The Weekend Guide, March 30th - April 2nd
We’ve planned a free Thursday night out for you to kick off your weekend, found some fun ways to get outside, and are featuring a Boston Marathon charity event. Oh yeah, and it’s opening day.
Thursday, March 30th: Your Free Night Out in Cambridge
Our 2 part itinerary kicks off in Central Square, at Cloud and Spirits at 7pm. Tullermore Dew will be there buying the Celtic Crush cocktail for anyone who’d like to experience the whiskey or one of Cloud and Spirits’ unique cocktails.
Next up, you’ll take a short walk to the Harvard Art Museums for Harvard Art Museums at Night. This month’s gathering is extra special because we’ll be celebrating the opening of our exhibition From the Andes to the Caribbean: American Art from the Spanish Empire. The evening will feature exhibition-related activities such as exhibition tours and art making activities in the Materials Lab involving Taza chocolate.
Everyone can bring friends to mingle in the Calderwood Courtyard or wander the galleries to take in their world-class collections of art, all set to the smooth sounds of DJ C-Zone.
As always, Harvard Art Museums at Night is free and open to everyone from 5:00 to 9:00pm.
Friday, March 31st: Japanese Whisky Tasting
Leave the office or wrap up WFH at 5pm and go to the Urban Grape for a Japanese Whiskey Tasting - if you’ve been curious about these new brands, now is your chance to explore and try them all … for free. Learn about the regions, styles, and what makes Japanese whiskey so special.
Saturday, April 1st: Free Live Music
The Beehive, South End: The only thing better than the Beehive’s brunch menu is the live music you can catch on the weekends. The Beehive features top talent artists ranging from jazz, soul burlesque, reggae, blues and funk.
PKL, Southie: Every Saturday evening local artists are featured at the mic.
Sunday, April 2nd: Charity Row Class
On Sunday, April 2nd, Row Republic is hosting a private class for Boston Marathon Charity runner (and Board Member) Erica and ALL PROCEEDS will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association.
