The Staycation Guide, Part II
In this second part of the staycation guide, we’re bringing you ideas to stay entertained in the city over the long weekend!
We have activities for both the thrill seeker as well as those who appreciate relaxation and art so make sure to check it out and let us know if you enjoyed them!
Thursday: Harvard Art Museums
Skip Allston Christmas and instead come join Harvard Art Museum next Thursday, August 31st for their monthly Harvard Art Museums at Night! While you're there, check out Somerville’s Carolicious serving up Venezuelan food and local favorite Notch Brewing for some refreshing brews.
Friday: Allston Christmas Happenings
September 1st is upon us again and as most Bostonians are aware, Allston Christmas has arrived. While all the college students are moving in and out of their dorms, we’ve found some $1 foods for you to enjoy away from the chaos!
Never Heard of Allston Christmas? Learn more about the happenings here:
Saturday: Take a Ride on Codzilla
You’ll roar for more after riding Codzilla. They put the pedal to the metal and the volume to 11 as they blast an original soundtrack and storyline that takes you on a fun, up-tempo journey. Sit back and relax? Not on this cruise, which is no ordinary boat ride. True to its name, Codzilla is monstrously fun—a thrill a minute as you scream across the water at up to 40 MPH, with a few hairpin turns and 360-degree spins thrown in for evil measure.
Sunday: 3rd Annual Labor Day Weekend Block Party
Say goodbye to summer with their 3rd annual Labor Day Block Party! Enjoy live music and entertainment as well as food and drink from different vendors in the area! With plenty to do, you’ll be sure to have a great sunday funday!
