The Weekend Guide: July 13th-16th
We have put together a list of fun activities and outings for you to enjoy this weekend! Whether you want to wind down with rooftop yoga or ramp the night up with salsa dancing, we have you covered this weekend!
Thursday July 13th: Rooftop Yoga with BostonYPA
Join BostonYPA on the rooftop of Energize Boston for a 45 minute yoga flow with the views of Boston. Afterwards, we'll bring up some nourishing (ahem, energizing) salads and smoothies that we can enjoy on the rooftop with our friends. Each session will feature a swag item given to all attendees. During this class everyone who attends will receive a yoga mat to use and take home!
Friday July 14th: Salsa Dancing on the Row
On alternating Friday nights, you can find people out at Assembly Row salsa dancing the night away! This FREE event is a great way to get out of the house and make new friends.
Saturday July 15th: The Massholes Comedy Trolley Tour of Boston
Get ready to laugh your way through Boston's iconic landmarks and neighborhoods by hopping on board The Massholes Guide to Boston, a comedy trolley tours of Boston unlike any other!
The guides, who happen to be some of Boston's funniest comedians, lead the private charter bus tours. They take you on a journey through Boston's rich history and culture, mixing in clever fiction to keep your group guessing. But don't worry, the facts are mostly true!
The guides will keep you entertained with their bits on bits on bits, so you'll never be bored with a typical tour guide droning on and on and on.
All the tours start and finish at the Asylum CoLab in Boston's historic Faneuil Hall.
The tours are not only fun and engaging, but also educational (sort of). Learn about Boston's history and culture, with two of Boston's biggest Massholes guiding your journey, throwing in some ridiculous embellishments and tall tales along the way.
Sunday July 16th: Whale Watch Cruises w/ City Cruises
Set sail with City Cruises for the whale watch experience of a lifetime. Destination: Stellwagen Bank Marine Sanctuary, a rich feeding ground for whales, dolphins, sea birds and other marine creatures. Stellwagen is home to many species of large whales, including humpbacks, finbacks and minkes. New England Aquarium naturalists will share knowledge, answer your questions and explain the fascinating behaviors of these truly magnificent mammals.
