January 1st, 2023: Bright Nights at Forest Park
Did someone say road trip? Starting at 5PM, it’s your last night to walk through Forest Park for Bright Nights! Since 1995, Bright Nights has been a unique public/private collaboration between the City of Springfield’s Department of Parks, Buildings & Recreation Management and the Spirit of Springfield, a private non-profit organization. Together they have welcomed more than 6 million visitors. It has been calculated that if every bus that had visited were lined bumper to bumper, they would go from Springfield to Cape Cod. The cars would go as far as California.
January 1st, 2023: Last Holiday Tree Lightings of the season
The holiday lights will shine bright one last time at The Boston Common, The Comm Ave Mall, Seaport, Christopher Columbus Park, Macy’s, Copley, Faneuil Hall, Martin’s Park Ship, Hammond Mansion, Community Boating on the Esplanade, and the Public Gardens.
