DO YOUR JOB.

DO YOUR JOB.

DO YOUR JOB.

A philosophy I fully embrace.

As an energy coach (life coach, but life is just usages and applications of energy) I am often supporting people who wish they had more time, more money, less stress and less stomach aches.

Each of those variables- energy sources.

So when I teach the busiest of busy individuals in how to feel their best and make small shifts to be more productive, I focus all on energy. Enter Bill Belichick.

BB (#hero) talks at length about each person doing their job on and off the field. Everyone has a different role and their responsibilities can’t be confused or basically they mess everything up. On the field some combinations work really well, others not so much. Sometimes they have to learn to adjust to obstacles and trust making the best decision for the Team in any given moment.

Apply that to food, time and more.

Everything you eat or drink has a different job. Confusing the roles is done far too often (fat-free cookies? too much multi-tasking?), and to be honest, that messes everything up. Rather than let each “player” do what it’s supposed to do, we try to have everything in one place. The Patriots don’t need 11 Tom Brady’s or Gronks (or do we?) they need a Team of players with different jobs. And BB doesn’t let anyone waste energy confusing their jobs. And beyond that, when we enlist the wrong combinations or applications of energy, we make things a whole lot harder and more complicated.

Here in Boston, we like to win. To do that, we have to trust the process and detach a bit from outcome.
